Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic
Considered to be one of the prettiest towns in Central Europe, Cesky Krumlov is a three hour bus ride from Prague and where I decided to take a quick overnight detour on my travels.
The town is located in a horsehoe bend of the Vltava River and the old town is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. As an Australian tourist, the town is unbelievably affordable. For the price of one banana back home, I was able to purchase food and snacks for two days at the market in town which was fortunate, because for me, Cesky Krumlov will always be remembered as the town where I accidentally threw my credit card in the bin.
